You guys made my day. I loved how you wore clothes that matched our colors (which even meant Jason wore pink!). The music was awesome and everyone had so much fun dancing! No one wanted it to end! And I can’t say enough about Torrie. She was the glue to that whole operation and I really can’t thank her enough for what an amazing person she is.

Jason and Torrie are amazing. Jason was very detailed and wanted to know exactly how I wanted things so he could make sure it got done right. The music at the wedding was perfect. He knew exactly how to work the music so the crowd would dance. We had to be told to stop dancing because the reception was over!

I can’t say enough about Torrie and her attention to detail. She was only supposed to coordinate the wedding ceremony because we hired a separate coordinator for the reception; but she ended up doing it all and she was so much better than the one I hired! She paid attention to every little detail and made sure I was where I was supposed to be at the different times. She also made sure me and my husband got all the food, drink and cake that we wanted since it’s very easy to forget while you’re mingling and dancing!

I never had to worry about a thing on my wedding day and I have these two to thank for a huge part of that. They care about their clients; it’s not just work to them. You can tell they love what they do and they give 110% from day one up until the event is complete. I HIGHLY recommend them for any event you’re considering. I’m partial to weddings because I saw first-hand what an amazing job they did and I hope other people get to experience them too! My wedding would not have gone as smoothly or as well without Jason and Torrie in charge. Thank you, you guys. I appreciate your work and thoughtfulness so much! You really are great people and I wish you nothing but success!

He also played ALL the songs we requested! Jennifer was a tremendous help! She stayed in close contact with me within weeks of our wedding to make sure the agenda was exactly what we wanted and the day of the wedding she was a life saver! She found me as soon as she got to our wedding location & was there to guide us through everything…literally until the end of the reception! I'm not sure that our day would have been as smooth without Jennifer.
Your beach accommodations were great as well! You were able to fulfill our request to have sound, speakers and music on the beach which other companies were not able to accommodate. Overall, the experience with Southern Sounds DJ was perfect!!"

"I was very pleased and you did a fantastic job!  You guys came the day before and did all the setup!  You executed everything we talked about and even helped decorate!  You played every song I asked for!  Your questionnaire was thorough and made me think of things I had not thought of before!  The volume was just right!  Corey did a great job with the hourglass presentation!  You were flexible.  For instance, we decided to do father daughter dance... last minute (I was not going to but the mothers insisted!) ...which was stress free because Corey picked something to play (not even sure what it was) but it was perfect!  Then we did an unplanned mother daughter dance; again Corey picked it just right.  The newlywed game was over the top!  The limbo was fun, and you had the right music!   When we got stuck on the line dance Candace jumped right in, and picked right up on cue.  My words cannot describe the overwhelming sense of pride and joy I feel about my own reception!  It was defiantly a success.  Everyone is still talking about it! They say it was the best reception they have ever been too.  Every single person…. I am ready to do it again! "Jason and Torrie were more than helpful and I’m so grateful for the both of them and for many different reasons. Jason was so nice and welcoming when my mom and I first met with him. Jason knows exactly what is he doing! I believe our first meeting with him was for an hour and a half and Jason was so knowledgeable in everything that Southern Sounds has to offer, he was organized, fun, and was very good with attention to details. I first talked to Torrie over the phone and she was so nice and very helpful. I am very thankful for her because she actually calmed my nerves over the phone and of course on my wedding day. Torrie was always checking in on all of us and knew where I was at all times in case I might have needed her for anything! Our wedding was the best day of our lives and Southern Sounds has a lot to do with it. Jason and Torrie were at our wedding hours before our ceremony setting up and making sure that everything was just right. Torrie had her wedding kit for all of us girls and kept everything running smoothly from helping with makeup stains, to pictures, lining everyone up, and sending everyone off down the aisle to the great sound of our music played by Jason. Jason also provided microphones for the pastor and Timmy during the ceremony and they were perfectly clear which one of my concerns was. From our ceremony we went straight into pictures and into our reception which Torrie kept everyone in line very well! Our reception went from magical with our first dance and our initials on the wall (which we both loved!!)  to an absolute blast for the rest of the reception from our bridal party dance, to the bouquet and garter toss and many more memories that can be accounted for by Southern Sounds. We honestly couldn't ask for a better DJ and wedding coordinator. Timmy and I would recommend Southern Sounds for any event because they are great people with great services!!!! My experience with Southern Sounds was so wonderful! As a bride, it was so important that I got to enjoy my wedding without having to orchestrate every detail. Both Jason and Torrie were so valuable to me and helped me plan the reception of my dreams. Even now, months after my wedding, I get comments from friends and family about how much fun they had at the wedding reception! I was especially pleased with their professionalism, both in our pre-wedding meetings and at the event itself.
